Dental Extractions

Extraction of a tooth may be necessary when a tooth cannot be saved or when a tooth needs to be removed as a part of a treatment plan. We do our utmost to ensure that the whole process is as comfortable as possible.

Wisdom tooth extraction

The extraction of wisdom teeth is fairly common and may be performed if the tooth is rotten, or it is partly erupted with not enough space available in the jaw for the tooth to develop normally. Impacted wisdom teeth may also require extraction. We can arrange the extraction of especially difficult teeth and impacted wisdom teeth either at Alpha House or with our specialist colleagues in other clinics or hospital.

Anxious and Nervous Patients

If patients are especially anxious about the loss of a tooth, sedation is an option. Oral sedation is available (at no extra fee). For the especially hesitant, intra venous deep sedation is available and is administered by Chris Perera, consultant anaesthetist (subject to patient's medical history). Please speak to one of the team for further information about options for sedation.

Everyone in this practice is very friendly and caring, from the reception staff, dental nurses and hygienists through to Mr Hussain, who I believe provides state of the art treatment in a very sympathetic and unhurried manner.

It is definitely a practice where the patient comes first, and I have been delighted with all the work I have had done, which has included crowns and an implant. I would recommend Mr Hussain and his team to anyone concerned about taking care of their teeth.
